Tamaya
- Peddler of Soap Bubbles -

Many dances in the 19th century featured characters taken from daily life. This particular dance shows a peddler of soap bubbles. In Japanese, the work "Tama" can mean a variety of things including jewel, soul and ball. The first part of the dance describes the various shapes that the bubble take, then the next part shows all kinds of things including the work "Tama." Finally the dance ends with a lively popular song.
